Today we played the minor harmonic scale. We write our own goal and my goal for today is "to be more active in class" and I achieved it. However, I will try to master all of the chords in the Harmonic Scale.22/1/09-Thursday
Today I played A, E, and B Harmonic Scale and star the Simple Chord Progression in instrument class. We also did the hand kodali assessment, which I was satisfied with the result.
27/1/09-Tuesday
Today I learned the G, D, A, and E intervals as well as the four sharps in the major scales. But I did quite good in the major scales.
29/1/09-Thrusday
We receive the Fly Me to the Moon and Autumn Leaves lyrics because our topic for this semester is Jazz music. I learned syncopation in vocals and played the Simple Chord Progression.
3/2/09-Tuesday
We discussed about our individual report and its requirements. In intrument class, we perfected the Simple Chord Progression and talked about the Learning Plan for the second Semeter.
5/2/09-Thursday
We started to practice the scales to prepare for my exam on the fourth weel of February.We also started to sing 'Fly Me o the Moon' which I already memorized the lyrics.
10/2/09-Tuesday
We did the Jazz individual report outline which can help us during our report later. We played the Flu Me to the Moon melody and notes with the violin class for the upcoming exams.
12/2/09-Thursday
Todat we review our tasks on the music report of the Jazz music and our assessment. We also watch the Jakarta Jazz performance with the teachers. We also practiced the Fly Me to the Moon for our assessment.
17/2/09-Tuesday
We review on what we have researched on our report. We also started to play the Fly Me to the Moon with the walking bass, because on the assessment, we will have to play both hands which the left hand is the walking bass.
19/2/09-Thursday
We submit our music Jazz report and finished our outline and what we learned and moved it to the final draft. We perfected the Fly Me to the Moon with both hands but with the metronome.
24/2/09-Tuesday
We did our Fly Me to the Moon assessment which I did quite well. We did our assessment for the whole two sessions without theory and instrument class.
26/2/09-Thursday
We did our written or Music theory test and we played Fly Me to the Moon in the instrument class. I played almost perfect wxcept for the last part, which I was quite confused with the walking bass.
3/3/09-Tuesday
We performed our Fly Me to the Moon but still practicing infront of the class. So we can be good for our practical assessment on the first week of April.
5/3/09-Thursday
We watch the artists showcase of Chic Corea, Bobby McFerrin, and Eddy Gomez, playing Spain. We practice Fly Me to the Moon with the walking bass.
10/3/09-Tuesday
We write our reflection on what we have done in term three and I think I learned many things about Jazz music.
